Harvest 2019
January and February usually signal the start of harvest time on the farm. A successful almond harvest begins with a clean, dry orchard floor. In this photo you can see that we harvest with the use of a shaker. The almonds then dry naturally which can take anywhere from a few days up to two weeks. Luckily here in the Karoo with our sweltering heat the almonds only need a week to dry. Photo by Micheal le Grange
